MB 594 Azide
MB™ 594 Azide can be reacted with with terminal alkynes via a copper-catalyzed click reaction (CuAAC). It also reacts with strained cyclooctyne via a copper-free click chemistry reaction to form a stable triazole and does not require Cu-catalyst or elevated temperatures.
MB™ 594 is a bright, red fluorescent probe with absorption and emission maxima similar to Texas Red dye or Alexa Fluor® 594. The dye is based on a novel class of rhodamine dyes. Unlike traditional rhodamine dyes, MB™ 594 is not only bright and photostable but also highly water-soluble and pH-insensitive. MB™ 594 can be used as a replacement for Alexa Fluor® 594, DyLight® 594, and Texas Red.
